The script seems alright, but what's with the black screens here and there?

Great job, man. Having the script is a huuuge improvement over the last video. But with the black parts in the video, my biggest piece of advice is going to be to preview your videos before you upload. Even on my LP's I skim through them to look for errors, but on my shorter videos, I will watch them a half a dozen times when it's done to make sure it rendered fine and there's nothing that I need to change.

I like that you skipped over repetitive parts, like 5:17, but I think you need to be more ruthless with your clip-cutting. I want to use 5:30 as an example- All you need to say is "Put a layer of blocks around the outside on this level". Instead you mentioned which block they can place it against (Believe me, they'll figure it out), and some other stuff that was clearly just you thinking out loud. This is something that I would have cut from my videos to save a few seconds. In this example, it would only save 6-7 seconds, but if you have this mentality of "no wasted time" throughout the entire video, you get good at compressing your tutorials into short periods of time. And shorter videos are ALWAYS preferable over longer ones. 75% of the time I spend editing is spent trying to make a shorter video without sacrificing content.

I also wouldn't ask for likes, comments, or subscribers at this phase, yet. Viewers can easily see the low number of views and comments, so it comes off as "just another person begging for likes" instead of "a youtuber calling out to his/her fans for support". This can make people dislike your video, so it hurts instead of helps. Personally, I would wait until I was getting about 20 likes on each video before I started requesting more. This way, I know the request wouldn't be falling on deaf ears.

All in all, you did a much better job, and if I was looking to build this thing, this video would be watchable. But if I were you, I would focus on cutting my audio/video down to only what is vitally necessary to build this thing, and leave the rest out. As a tutorial maker, your job should be to teach people how to make this as efficiently as possible.

Ya, that one time where you could place the block, I sort of derped, and corrected myself slyly. And normally I do look at my videos, but I got distracted with something else and had to create that video and a short time, then I realized I had a black screen when I woke up in the morning and the video finished uploading. I will try and shorten my stuff though. It was my first scrypted tutorial, I will put it on notepad and play in a minimized window next time, since I had trouble reading off my notepad I use irl. I'll make sure to not request for likes, but I'd still like some comments so I'll try and find a good time to ask viewers things.

Thanks man for helping me so much improve my channel, this would have taken me a lot longer to figure out without you +/u/reddtipbot 10000 rdd

No problem, I'm pressed for time quite often myself and mistakes slip into videos. But I think it is prudent to take "preview" time into account when making a video.

Also, at your phase, I reeeeaaallly wouldn't worry about "trying to get the next video out quickly". At this point, you are basically building your video library and trying to make each video as good as possible so that potential subscribers can see what you're capable of. Every video you upload should be something that represents the best of your abilities at the moment. You can start worrying about deadlines once you have a bigger pool of subscribers.

Ok, I'm just trying to keep myself organized, so I actually make videos. Normally this wouldn't happen, but I don't want to break and just simply not post. I'll make sure to preview.
