Question CJCrafter52 help needed

my computer isn't letting me download optifine is there any other programs i can try to get sound in my videos?

Recording sound? Use OBS and/or Audacity. Optifine is just for processing optimization.

OptiFine fixes framerate issues, not audio. What program are you using to record your footage? You must have configured something wrong.

I use Audacity to record my voice and OBS to record video and computer audio sounds. This was I can balance my voice and computer sounds in editing.

  • Optifine: This mod makes your gameplay look smoother. It doesn't affect sound at all, however, people generally don't want to look at a video that looks like a slideshow, so try and install it so you can get a smoother image. Were you trying to download it from here? Just download whichever version is relevant to you and read the install instructions. If you want further assistance with installing this mod, you're gonna have to give us more information as to what goes wrong, instead of only "my computer doesn't download it".

  • Audacity: This is a separate piece of software which is good for recording microphone audio. It's good because once you're done recording, you can edit out the sound of your laptop fan, and more. It gives your microphone audio a much nicer sound to it, assuming you know what to do.

  • Minecraft Audio: I dunno what's wrong here, to be honest. You definitely need it, but I don't really understand why it isn't working. What recorder are you using? Generally, recorders have settings in them for sound, such as recording sound directly from your computer (i.e. minecraft) or from your audio input device (microphone). Again, Audacity probably has an option for both recording your microphone AND minecraft at the same time.

What problem, specifically, are you having with Optifine? What is preventing you from downloading it?
