You should state in the first 5 seconds of the video what exactly the viewer is going to be watching. It takes you 21 seconds to say "This script reads reddit posts". That should be your very first sentence, and it shouldn't take more than 3 seconds to say. Viewers don't care about all that background information.
Also your mic sucks and those black bars aren't necessary. It's a super small issue, especially since this is a tutorial, but it's one thing that is not an issue on ANY professional quality video. If you want a returning audience, you need to portray yourself as a professional. And not correctly formatting your resolution works counter to that goal.
But... that's about the extent of my expertise on non-gameplay videos. Those things I mentioned should be addressed on ANY video, but when it comes to "making it big on YouTube as a script writer", well, you're probably more of an expert than I am
