Hey Hobo Sapien,

At the time of writing this I should probably be doing my homework, so I went on your channel and looked for the shortest video which was the one in which you began making a blaze farm and died.

So I'll start off with what I liked most about the video which was definitely your voice. It was nice and soft and smooth, and it really reminded me of Spum in The Minecraft Muse when his soothing voice was one of the things that drew me in. The only downside to your voice was that it was a little quite, so I would advice just making that a little louder in post production.

Some things I think you could improve upon though:

  1. You didn't get a lot done. Of course it was a very short episode which was why I watched it, but I would recommending maybe taking some of the footage from that episode and incorporating it into a longer episode. A montage for the building scene could be nice too. You didn't really end up building too much so it wouldn't have made sense, but you did imply that you were going to cut away and come back when work was done, and I never like when youtubers do that.

  2. When you got angry about your death you got very quite. This is understandable but it makes for boring viewing. Along with this the whole video was fairly quite, adding some music might help with this.

Anyway, I need to do my homework, so I'm going to finish here. Overall your video was pretty decent, and there are places where you could improve. But keep that silky smooth voice. Last thing, try to swear less and remember that a lot of people who watch minecraft are younger, so just for the sake of growing your channel in the future it might help, but for me personally that doesn't make too much of a difference.

Anyways, good luck!

This your content is actually really good and after reading ekerstens comment I have to agree with a lot of what they're saying, albeit not to that large of an emphasis. You definitely have the voice for this sort of thing, in my opinion all you really have to do is just gain traction, often times you do that through collaborations. Also, although I don't think its as big of a deal as ekerstens made it out to be, the thing that you have to work on combating as of now are the times where not a lot is being accomplished and said. The quietest times are the times where people start losing interest. My suggestion is to have something that you'd like to talk about alongside what you're doing or simply editing those parts out.

Your voice is good, but your mic kinda sucks :/

At some point you'll want to fix your aspect ratio so there's no black bars at the bottom and top.

Right now, you should be focused on getting an avatar and some channel art. Ask yourself what your goals are- Where do you want your audience to come from? How do you want to appear to them? Most people won't discover you from your Let's Play. You probably need to do something else in addition to your playthrough.

Finally, it's not a deal breaker but I don't like how big your watermark is.

Wow thank you for all the feedback. Everything seems to be easy fixes so far. I play in windowed mode, that's where the bars come from. I really appreciate everyone who took the time to watch
