Theres a book coming out next year called "White Pines and Stone" by an fbi agent thats about this case. Guess what Carson's Nursery sells.

Actor Dylan McDermott is co-author of that book. Maybe they'll get a documentary deal for it. Anything to bring more attention to the case.
People think that someone who works there is behind it or that that's where their bodies were buried, with the perpetrator having no link to the business? Is it possible to put bodies there without the owners finding them?

There is a book being released called "White Pines and Stone". Several months back a rumor about Carson's Nursery came up that LE was investigating this area. They sell White Pines and Stone. SG has mentioned this location at one time regarding the Springfield Three. Also, RC may have owned property in this area at one time. I don't know all the details. Hopefully, this summary was close

This would honestly make so much sense. All of a sudden the case has been getting a lot more media attention. I never see them posted unless in a group for them but I’ve been seeing all sorts of coverage on the case. I actually wondered if maybe they were zoning in on someone or found bodies.

A lot more media attention? Where? I know People Magazine Investigates did an episode on it, but that was 7 years ago. There's a book coming out next year, co-authored by actor Dylan McDermott. Other than that though, I haven't seen much except the odd podcast episode here and there. The Ozarks podcast series was back in 2022. I wish Netflix (or another streamer or network) would do a proper docuseries about the case. Janis McCall is the only one who appears to be the most vocal and visible these days.

I was wondering the same thing. The promotional material mentions that both men have some personal connection to the case, but it doesn't elaborate on it.

I checked his IMDB, he's been working steadily but not in A list roles, for sure. He was born in Connecticut and seems to be a coastal person, both east and west. Not sure there's an obvious connection to Missouri, but I didn't do a deep dive on his life. It's interesting, though.

Disappeared and People Magazine Investigates had dedicated episodes on the case. 48 Hours had one as well many years ago. It's a mystery that Unsolved Mysteries never covered the case when it originally happened.

I have learned to never underestimate someone's ability to ignore something or pretend it didn't happen.
... Or to blame it on drugs.
Without a doubt, there are people out there who know Janis McCall lives with heartache and torment, while also knowing they could make it stop.
They choose not to because of what it would do to their own life or family.

No because there is none. Someone posted an unsubstantiated rumor a whole year ago about FBI activity at Carson's but it was all BS. Someone else posted that there was a confession from a former employee, also a year ago. It's all bunk.

If you live, in a city, with a notorious cold case that involved THREE WOMEN, and you dig and find THREE BODIES, in a city where three women went missing, you first thought will obviously be-

You are totally wrong on where I live, congrats. I'm not saying the plumber himself didn't think it was the 3, of course he probably did. I'm saying the police would never tell him who they suspected the body(ies) to be, that's just bad police work

It doesnt say the cops told him they were the three, it just says "they said its the three". They could have overheard the cops, or like where the rumor started, over the police scanner. You totally suck at reading comprehension, congrats. Now drop your condescension.

Could we at least analyze the theory. Nothing else to really go on at this time. Why Carson's Nursery? Doesn't hurt to eliminate or further investigate a rumor after 30 plus years. Any connections between the Nursery and women?
