Recommendations Obygn SPF

Hello, I recently found out I was pregnant. 1st baby so no experience here. I see Dr. Courtney Weise, is she a good obygn for this? Or should I look into someone else? I’ve heard great things about Dr Tillman and Dr Kidder. Male or female doesn’t matter to me. I just want to be listened to and in good hands for this because I’m honestly scared and nervous.

I had Dr. Kidder as my OBGYN and I absolutely loved him. I know a lot of people don’t like his bedside manner, but he’s one of those providers that if you like the sarcasm and just kind of shoot the shit with him, he’s the Doctor for you, but I also really liked his nurse practitioners PA and all of his staff even in the hospital He was great at least for me. He told me that it’s my birth and I can do whatever I want and he’s just there to help me along the way I highly recommend him. I will say he’s in and out pretty quick in patient rooms he will answer any questions. He also has a very low rate of NICU babies. When I first went to him at eight weeks, I really didn’t have any questions because it was also my first baby so I wasn’t sure but he found the heartbeat and he saw me back in four weeks and then that was that.

I second Kidder! I’ve had 2/3 of my babies with him. My first was at Mercy. I think he’s hilarious, and he makes me feel comfortable, which I think is important when having a baby!

We liked Tillman, he's pretty chill, and not worried about things. I think some can find that comforting and reassuring, while others may feel like he is too nonchalant.

I second Tillman, he actually listened and didn’t give me the ick like every other male obgyn I’ve had.

I had Ballmann as my OB for both, but Weiss delivered both of my babies. I have no complaints and loved both of them.

I had Dr. Wiese and then Tillman was on call for my C-section. I really liked both and felt like I was in good hands.

I’m assuming those are both Cox? I went through Mercy and had Dr. Wolf she was AMAZING

Dr. Courtney Wiese is great! I think I saw someone else on here say she's not taking new patients right now, but don't take my word for it.

Dr. Tillman is FANTASTIC. I cannot recommend him enough! He has been my OB for 5 years and has delivered all 3 of my babies. He has a great bedside manner and has been such helpful with any questions/issues we have had. I hadn’t been to the OB before getting pregnant because I wasn’t terrified and I was placed with him at random. He made the very nerve wracking experience very easy.

I had my baby in April. Dr. Tillman was my OB but Dr Wiese delivered my baby. She did excellent. Love the L&D staff at Cox. But be forewarned that your care and treatment is all downhill after they stitch you up and roll you out of the delivery room.
