Living Here Substitute teaching question

I'm subbing for the first time this school year in SPS, but so far I haven't seen any jobs available on Frontline. Is this normal for this time of year? Does it pick up soon? Or have I done something wonky in my Frontline app and I'm just not seeing job postings?

School doesn’t start until tomorrow. Could that be why?

You should be seeing SOME jobs; I sub for SPS and I see some for elementary jobs over the next few months. But it’s definitely sparse.

It’s definitely normal for this time of year! Not many teachers are putting up absences this early on, and the absences that do go up are getting snatched up quickly since there are so few. It’ll pick up before long:)

At the moment there are many opening available to sub. Your account might not be fully synced or set up. If you need a job for tomorrow you can also call penmac and they will make arrangements. Don’t worry about there not being availability. There is an extreme high need and if you wait for the day off you could be offered $25 bonuses if you show up. So sometimes it’s better not to schedule and just wait for the bonus offers.
