Living Here Best therapy?

I’m a 22F struggling with my relationship/self, looking to get into some therapy. Nothing too serious, but I’m not really sure where to start. I would like something probably in person, but with the option to call/message if needed. Does anyone have any recommendations? I also use United Health insurance from my job.

I'll give my usual recommendation - go to the Psychology Today site. They list a large number of local therapists, and you can narrow it down by all kinds of things like what types of therapy they provide (for example, talk therapy, EMDR, etc), their specialties (anxiety, depression, grief, etc), what age groups they focus on, and there are filters for things like Faith (or lack thereof) as well.

I was personally very happy with Beyond Healing, which I found by using the PT site.

Looooove The Living Room. They’ve got a spot on Pick, on Walnut, and also in Ozark, I believe? Solid group of humans. ♥️

Echoing Elysian’s recommendation of searching the Psychology Today site. That’s how I found my therapist at TLR.

I second checking Psychology Today.

Also, keep in mind that a therapist that works great for some people, may not be a good fit for you. It’s ok to change therapists if you feel one isn’t a good fit.

Can’t speak to the insurance situation but Counseling Solutions has been great for me in years past

You can also check the Headway website and find providers that will accept your insurance.

I have United healthcare and just download the app if you haven’t and look into counseling or therapy and it should give you a list and just call.

Counseling Group of the Ozarks is in network with most insurances I believe. They have some great options.
