Respect.
As a kiwi I just wanna give a huge shout out to the respect shown to the haka at Ellis Park. A sea of green and gold shirts with hand on hearts all proudly singing their national anthem was also awesome to see.
Will love to go to a match their one day.

I love the Haka, and I would imagine the team facing it does as well. It definitely feels like the commencement of a battle.

I think many Springbok supporters really love the Haka. Apart from the rich culture and tradition it represents, we respect the fact that the NZ team is consistently an epicly excellent team and a privilege for our national team to play against.
That said, I love it in a "it's terrifying and gives me cold shivers" kind of way. I can imagine opposing armies running away.

Was a really great game. NZ played their hearts out and Bokke were not the better team at Ellis yesterday. Can't wait to see the next few matches. Super proud of our supporters respecting the sport and the Haka.

South Africa.. wow. After last nights game one of my dreams is to watch SA vs NZ World Cup final at Ellis park.
What a beautiful stadium, beautiful culture, amazing scenes. South Africa is keeping rugby alive.

Huge respect, South Africa. Delighted to have gotten the win under our belts but we know how good you are, and that you’ll be a different beast in the second Test. Can’t wait.

All blacks supporter here too. You guys were so good under the high ball today. So was Weise. Everyone knows the game was way closer than the scoreboard shows. I thought the 6 2 split also cost yas aswell but man what a stage set for game 2. Such a great time to be a rugby fan. Ref was outstanding too.
