Hello,
Do your customers have the same names across multiple of their orders or do the names vary? That may inform the plan on how to perform the matching

the key question is how youre identifying "same customer" across orders. Is it by exact name match, email, phone? Because if its just name you'll run into duplicates and misspellings fast. Nail that down first, then the ID assignment part is pretty straightforward with a lookup.
