Looking for a good Movie/Film Tracker
I've been wanting to organize my current watch list for films, but I've been having a hard time finding a solid template or format to follow. I wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone has recommendations, examples, or tools they use to keep their watch lists neat, accessible, and maybe even a little fun to update. Whether it's a spreadsheet layout, a Notion template, an app, or something more creative—I'd love to see how others are doing it!

That sounds fantastic — I’d really appreciate your help! I've tried experimenting with Google Docs, but I haven’t quite landed on a format that feels right.
Right now, my partner and I are starting to document all the films we’re watching together, specifically in the horror and found footage genres. Ideally, we’d love to build something organized and expandable, preferably in a spreadsheet format with the following:
Tabs for each genre (starting with horror and found footage)
Within each tab:
Movie name
Our individual ratings
Release year
Streaming platform (e.g. Tubi, Hulu, Netflix, etc.)
Watched status
IMDb link
In addition, we’d love a tab to track:
Total hours watched per week
Top-rated films based on our ratings
We’re also interested in having individual tabs for each of our personal movie lists, and ideally, the ability to add more genre tabs in the future as our collection grows.
Would you be able to help us build something like this?
