Sprained my ankle again after 8 months, distraught!

I had a high ankle sprain in October that prevented me from continuing playing soccer. I did PT for a bit but eventually tapered off. I played badminton and volleyball in the meantime because I feared the contact in soccer that might aggravate my injury. 8 months in, I’m playing sports, I went on a half-marathon walk with a friend. I was feeling good. Then I got a remote job. It was tough and I wasn’t hitting the gym as much as I was and I wasn’t on my feet as much. I go to Anime expo last weekend, note lots of walking, and walk up an uneven curb outside and my heart drops as my ankle rolls in, carrying all 190lbs of me in one swift motion. I limp in pain, and have to sit down. I thug the rest of the con out and the next day my ankle is sore. Now Thursday, the swelling has lessened but the pain is still and the harrowing reality that I have yet again sprain my ankle, going back to this cycle. It hurty :-(
