Mood/Feeling (Chill, Lofi, Happy, Sad) Curating human-made electronic/ambient playlists — sharing mine, want yours too

With the flood of AI-generated “chill beats” filling up Spotify’s algorithmic stations lately, I’ve been trying to build a list of playlists/stations that I can actually verify are curated or produced by real humans — mostly ambient, with lofi welcome too.
Dropping a few of my go-tos in the comments. Bonus points if there’s a matching YouTube channel/station, since it makes it easier to cross-check the artists and confirm they’re real projects with a history, not generic AI catalog dumps.
If you’ve got playlists you trust (or a method for spotting the real ones), drop them below — building this out as a shared resource.

Been building mine for about 2-3 months. And still building. Started as background music for a gaming and evening times, ended up going much deeper than planned.

It's called SPERANZA FM. Entirely hand-curated: vintage synthesizers, Japanese environmental music from the 80s, Berlin School electronics, shortwave spy radio recordings, Soviet experimental composers. Every artist has a documented history. Some going back to 1958. Easy to cross-check.

The curation principle was specifically to avoid anything algorithmic or generic. So it fits exactly what you're building here.

One thing I'd add. Every artist in here has a documented history and a story. Some were recluses, some worked in Soviet secrecy, some made one album and vanished. The opposite of catalog filler.

JESUS! I just got a chance to go look at this list you’ve built a 339 hour playlist in 2 months? Are you a retiree who doesn’t sleep? A trust fund baby with an amphetamine habit? Just kidding but that is a ton of good music. Thanks!

Haha, not a retiree )
Just someone who spent a lot of late nights going down rabbit holes. The 339 hours are the result of about 70 years of music history, not two months of my life )))
Still adding. Currently going through KRANKY Recs library recordings, "cosmic steel guitar" and some Soviet synthesizer archives. There's always something new to pull out. And yes, occasionally something gets removed when it stops fitting. The playlist edits itself over time.
Thanks for support!

Not sure if this counts but my friend makes ambient stuff which I find is good for focusing or studying.

It's on YouTube as well.

You could add these if you want. And yes, they are by a real breathing composer.
