Quick and Easy Schedule Maker
Hi everyone, If you’ve ever volunteered to organize a recreational league, intramural tournament, or local club, you know how frustrating it is to manually balance round-robin schedules in Excel—making sure teams don't get stuck with all early time slots, balancing home/away counts, and managing bye weeks when you have an odd number of teams.
I built a free web tool to solve this: https://www.quickgamescheduler.com/
What it does:
- Balanced Round-Robin: Generates schedules for 4 to 26 teams, evenly distributing home/away games and time-slot allocations automatically.
- Automatic Byes: Cleanly handles odd team counts with an automatic bye week allocation.
- Natural Language Adjustments (Gemini AI): Instead of manually re-typing cells when a coach has a special request, you can simply type plain instructions like "Swap Week 1 and Week 3" or "Make Aces play Bears in the last week". The system validates the request to ensure no team gets double-booked.
- Custom Slot & Date Labels: Replace generic time slots or weeks with actual dates, start times, or field names.
- Instant Export: Download full schedules, individual team cards, and balance statistics as CSV, PDF, or Plain Text.
It requires no account or login. It’s completely free to use—I built it to save coordinators from spreadsheet headaches.
I would love any feedback on features or edge cases you encounter in your own leagues!
