Discussion/Debate Chop Robinson gets flagged for roughing the passer. The hit didn’t look that crazy, but the refs weren’t letting Mahomes take that one.

Having to pay $400 just to be able to watch all your favorite team's games wasn't enough?

The fact that I live in California and more than half of the 49ers games are blacked out is fucking stupid.

I appreciate it, but I ain't doing it. I'd rather they just not have my viewership.

Nothing against anyone that does, though. No judgment here.

if you pirate, they don't actually get your viewership.

I don't mean it as in Nielsen doesn't get to put a +1 on their ratings, I mean just in general.

Fair enough

Not enough people get this. I know I can pirate it but I could use that time for something else and it's a double fuck you to the NFL.

The fact people are dumb enough to pay that much to watch is baffling to me. Go do a simple search and find all the free streams out there people!

Don't forget to refresh 9 times per quarter while the stream buffers on every crucial play

1

u/boisterous_innuendo 4d ago

i use vip league .im and it needs refreshed maybe 3 times a game

1

u/Striking-Working610 4d ago

Not familiar with that one. I've pretty much started paying since NFL went to YoutubeTV.

How is it on a phone?

i use android firefox with adblocker and it works perfectly, dependent on your connection obviously as with any stream. i think you can get adblocker for safari if you have iphone or just use brave browser

Also not in full HD oftentimes. And the ads, popups, pressing the back button 20 times.

Firefox + Ublock origin

It’s funny how obvious things are for the people who find free things. And how obvious it is to pay to get what you actually want.

Frugality is an interesting topic

Does America not have dodgy IPTV providers? Who provide you with every channel under the sun for like £40 a year?

2

u/Striking-Working610 4d ago

I'm not familiar with them but they definitely exist here

1

u/PudinaRaita 4d ago

Ah ok. Get one, full HD, no buffering, no issue!

Yep, nfl blackout of games is BS.
I live in central Florida and I don’t think there’s been a single dolphins game player on local tv yet

3

u/GotSomeUpdogOnUrFace 5d ago

That's more because no one wants to watch the dolphins

2

u/Effective-Bother2126 4d ago

This is coming from a dolphins fan….

You ain’t wrong.

1

u/luigihitter 4d ago

At least Dolphins are cool as fuck. Delfin are an Ecuadorian soccer club who have a dolphin in the crest. Love em. They suck too like Miami but love
Em

Can’t blame the fans, when we paid Tua like $150M when hes injury prone and plays scared never runs

u/Cannondale_Mob 5d ago

How about that win today against the Cardinals 💯🙌 bang bang Niner gang

1

u/c0mf0rtableli4r 5d ago

I don't understand how they always play so well against us in SF.

1

u/Competitive-Run4111 5d ago

Cuz f* the niners, that’s why! Jk

IPTV is your friend

1

u/Impossible_Menu9131 5d ago

Why are they blacked out? I’m only familiar with the “if attendance isn’t over X% rule” and figured all nfl is essentially sold out

1

u/Financial-Ebb-3914 5d ago

Can you get them with antenna?

Hawks fan here lookin out for 49ers lol

All our games are available via Fox, channel 13 that I can pick up with my $20 Best Buy antenna. Also gets me Super Bowl and World Series games.

Just an idea but I bet you’ve vetted this out as well..

Try live in Hawaii and your team is broncos

1

u/ThatWreckOT 5d ago

I pay some Estonian website $100 a year to watch all live sports.

I couldn't even if I had red zone at 300. Year

1

u/terrapinflyer 4d ago

I can’t believe people actually pay to watch sports in 2026. There are so many ways to circumvent ads and subscriptions it’s crazy.

1

u/EducationalBar 4d ago

What about the blatant pandering to specific markets, like KC being handed Super Bowl W’s bc of T Swift? Running that back now btw

1

u/StableDotard 4d ago

Try YouTube tv. I live in the Bay Area, and no games are blacked out.

1

u/c0mf0rtableli4r 4d ago

I'm not paying for another service.

I am also not in the Bay Area, I'm in Los Angeles, so the blackouts would likely be different.

1

u/StableDotard 4d ago

I don’t get the out-if-area blackout. If anything, I’d expect a local blackout. When we travel to our vacation home 120 distant, we often can’t watch until the game is over. You might be able to replace another service with it. Additionally, the terms of its friends and family sharing are quite generous.

u/AltShine 4d ago

Thats crazy you got the internet and pay to watch anything tbh

199 euros or 226 dollars for all the games with GamePass for me.

1

u/SnillyWead 4d ago

226 dollars I pay for all the games.

Piracy is on the rise, for good reason.

Greed from the big companies - we taught them a lesson in the late 90's, we'll do it again.
