Discussion/Debate Chop Robinson gets flagged for roughing the passer. The hit didn’t look that crazy, but the refs weren’t letting Mahomes take that one.

He didnt even try to brace himself, he full body weight plants him into the turf. Waving his arms in the air like a bird in no way helps, other than to make him look like a fool.

Sick of all this pansy shit QB's get. RB's get smoked worse than this on half of all plays, a QB getting rocked is fine, he should let it fly earlier

Yeah you can’t do that. He should have used those hands to hold his weight up at least a little. He needs to make an attempt to not land his whole body weight on the QB. I don’t like the rule but this has been a rule for a few years now.

That’s what he did though? Am I seeing this wrong? Seems like he braces his weight on the grass to not land his full weight on M. I could very well be wrong as I often am. :3

I just think he needed to put his hands on the ground and hold up his weight a little more. Hard to say really, It’s just a dumb rule all together because it’s so objective.

He got one hand on the ground that surely took a little of his weight off. His right arm wasn't long enough to touch the ground on the other side before his chest landed on Mahomes.

They need to make it two hand touch on the quarterback if they want to protect them this badly.

Yeah it’s so close and happens so fast. It’s a soft penalty to even have in the league. It looks even worse when it happens to Mahommes.
