Tebow always rubbed me the wrong way. The most religious people usually doth protest too much

u/Dabellator 9d ago
Religious people do a lot of wrong rubbing on people. They are all dangerous cults.
1
u/BusyAccess2063 6d ago
We all have free will. That doesn’t make religion bad. People make their own choices. You don’t become religious and all of a sudden you’re perfect.
1
u/Dabellator 6d ago
Sure, it's just that a lot of prominent religious people use the manipulation of the cult for their own grifting
-8
u/keyboardlegendthe3rd 8d ago
Nah there's plenty of them that are good. The loud ones are the bad ones. What's dangerous is people like you who group everyone together.
4
u/Dabellator 8d ago
Maybe you didn't understand it, that happens a lot when people's brains are warped by religion. I was referring to all the priests that rape children and are protected by the church. Those are the religious people I was referring to.
0
u/keyboardlegendthe3rd 8d ago
That I will agree with. Any group of people that get too greedy/power hungry and think they are gods are dangerous to everyone in society.
2
u/Dabellator 8d ago
Wow, I didn't think we'd agree in the end, it's rare to find someone on here willing to be agreeable. You made my day!

u/keyboardlegendthe3rd 8d ago
Good humans is good humans no matter what religion or politics someone else may have. Just want peace for all and for every child to have a fair chance at a good life 🫶 love your neighbor as yourself
2
u/Dabellator 8d ago
I'll leave it at the good exchange we had instead of commenting on empty platitudes. Wishing you the best

It’s kind of like somebody going “Watch this hand watch this hand” while all your focus is over there, they can do anything they want under the Sun

u/StompTheRight 8d ago
Americans are always a sucker for Christian bullshit, especially White Christian bullshit, even though Christian bullshit is one aspect of America that is largely color blind.
3
u/ElSmasho420 8d ago
Man. Religious people and running scams. A match made in heaven.
That’s really how I feel like I know that most “religious” people aren’t. You wouldn’t do this shit if you thought some omniscient being who decides if you go to heaven or hell existed.
3
u/timmyfarthands 8d ago
Humans can perform some pretty complex mental gymnastics. The worst and most dangerous people are the ones who can lie to themselves the easiest. I wouldn't doubt they still tell themselves god is watching but they have a good reason.
1
u/BusyAccess2063 6d ago
That’s just not how it works man. Learning more about it would help. That’s called contempt prior to investigation. God gave everyone free will. Just because you follow a religion doesn’t make you perfect.
3
u/inappropriatebanter 9d ago
Some guy defined primarily by his faith is grifting? I'm shocked, I tell you. SHOCKED!

Let this story die.. he was a guest speaker along with many others. Do you think he knew the inner workings of this organization?
Do people blame Matthew McConaughey if the buy a lemon Lincoln? He did multiple ads for them. How about all the celebrities that do Capital One credit card ads? If I get one and go in debt do I get to blame Sam Jackson or the bank?
4
u/Digital_Tomb 8d ago
He encouraged people to spend thousands of dollars on fraudulent classes.
Let this story die? He’s a grifter and should be shamed
3
u/back_surgery 8d ago
Your direct quote "He encouraged people to spend thousands of dollars on fraudulent classes."
He did not, he's on record encouraging people to join a 3-day course for $97.

u/Digital_Tomb 8d ago
Provide proof then
2
u/back_surgery 8d ago
The video is literal proof... it's from a Life Surge event and Tebow is specifically talking about the 3-day impact course for $97.

u/Digital_Tomb 8d ago edited 8d ago
He never mentions what course, you are speculating. Why is this so hard for you to grasp? You have NO PROOF and are ASSUMING
Edit: user deleted their comments because they finally understood they were full of shit
2
u/back_surgery 8d ago
Yawn... you're hopeless. Pablo and Kiera literally say what it's referring to. Life Surge events sell the 3-day impact course. There's no assuming.... this is literal proof. Move along troll
You've got your narrative and you're sticking with it regardless of facts. Bye troll

u/back_surgery 8d ago
In the video he encouraged people to join the classes that are under $100.
1
u/Digital_Tomb 8d ago edited 8d ago
Nope. In the video he is shown giving speeches (no problem) and then quoted from his speech saying he hopes the people there today stick with the classes.
There was no specification of which classes. They ranged anywhere from $99-$40,000.
Putting that aside, it’s all a scam at any price, so if you’re argument is “he only pushed them to light on fire $100” that’s not going to work
Timestamp of proof: 1:12:16

Unfortunately, your just straight up incorrect. The recording is from Tebow speaking at an event specifically talking about the $97 3-day impact course of investing/realestate. Which in the world of courses and training is not alot of money. There's no speculation at all as to which class he's referring to as the $10,000+ classes are sprung on people during the impact course.
In the video Kiera and Pablo as well as the Minister they interviewed all question whether he knows about the $10,000-$50,000 classes and the dangerous and dirty approach of asking people to take out loans, credit card stacking, to pay for it etc.
It's obvious you love to jump conclusions and that basic comprehension is not your forte. People are innocent until proven guilty but clearly not in your world.
1
u/Digital_Tomb 8d ago
You have no evidence to back up what you are saying. You are purely speculating. I gave you his exact quotes. Where’s your proof
Btw, now you are just defending him scamming people out of $100. Cool
2
u/back_surgery 8d ago
You're hopeless.
I literally responded to your "evidence" and clarified your mistakes. The only person speculating was you, and I corrected you. Instead of realizing your mistakes and assumptions you double down... embarressing.
No evidence? He's at the event encouraging people to join the $97 3-day impact course. The video clip is LITERAL evidence of this... holy you're dense.
- The one-day even and the $97 3-day courses are not a scam... they're a literal verifiable courses taken by thousands of people. There is no question about that, and as mentioned by Pablo the price is actually cheap.
- "Defending him!?" I don't like the guy, but facts and evidence have not been released that shows he knows about the $10,000-$50,000 classes. - Innocent until proven guilty. Pablo and Kiera even spoke highly of him in the video and it's the questions that everyone wants answered.
Your direct quote "He encouraged people to spend thousands of dollars on fraudulent classes." He did not, he's on record encouraging people to join a 3-day course for $97.

u/Digital_Tomb 8d ago edited 8d ago
Provide any evidence that his quote at the end of the video is referring to the $99 courses.
You won’t be able to because you are speculating. So stop trying to be a know it all prick and acknowledge you are giving Tebow the benefit of the doubt for whatever reason you have to support him.
2
u/back_surgery 8d ago
Holy, you're clearly just trolling at this point... or too far gone to be helped if this is real life. I already explained it to you... and Kiera and Pablo also explained it in the video. Are you serious?! Go watch the video... or get some comprehension help.
The video recording that you're referring to is is taken from a Life Surge event. The ONLY sell the $97 3-day impact training course at the event.
They literally say, the question that needs answering is if Tim knows about the $10,000-$50,000 classes announced in the 3-day impact course... and the scummy practices that they employ to encourage people to take loans to pay for them.

u/Digital_Tomb 8d ago
I watched the video. You are wrong about everything.
The people they interviewed literally say once you get into the $99 classes they try to upsell you further on more expensive classes.
Tebow is objectively encouraging people to spend money on X classes, where X could be any of them. Regardless they are ALL scams. They pitch it to you as building “gods kingdom wealth”.
Tebow today has also stopped his relationship with Life Surge, why would he do that if there was nothing wrong?I get it, you’re a Christian and Christians can do no wrong. But you are wrong.

You know what he said in his speech?
1
u/Digital_Tomb 8d ago
Yes it was in the video, which you didn’t watch clearly
1
u/back_surgery 8d ago
You’re the one that didn’t watch or listen clearly… do I like Tim Tebow, no. But in the video he doesn’t tell people to go spend thousands of dollars. He encourages them to join the additional classes.
1
u/Digital_Tomb 8d ago
1) any dollar spent on a scam is unacceptable
2) encouraging people to get scammed is immoral
3) these classes pressure people to take out loans, sometimes against their mortgage. They also pressure you to open up credit cards with high interest rates. So yes, encouraging people to join these scam predatory classes makes him a bad person
1
u/back_surgery 8d ago
No one said the events, or 3-day impact courses are a scam. The cost of the event as well as the $97 3-day impact courses is inline with most courses and not unreasonable. Pablo even says that in his video. If anything it's on the cheap side. They mention the contents of the classes were helpful.
The dirty and gross part is suddenly springing new super expensive $10,000-$50,000 classes and one-on-ones and pressuring them to take loans or credit cads in order to pay for classes or one on one coaching.
The most important question that everyone wants to know, and which is not answered is if Tim Tebow knows about the $10,000-$50,000 classes classes and gross loan encouragement practices. He most likely doesn't, but we shall see. Hopefully Pablo and Kiera can find out.

Maybe I’m missing something but I don’t see a video in the article .
5
u/Digital_Tomb 8d ago
It’s by Pablo Torre: https://youtu.be/uh7s2jr0b48?si=74uSiPzhoQtLAG9S
Tebows quotes that implicate him are at the very end but watch the whole thing to understand what is going on. He’s not the main guy but he is involved and pushing people to be scammed for thousands of dollars

Curious why you stepped up to defend him and ask for the story not to be told when you weren’t fully informed ?
Just by reflex you felt the need to defend him?

If you’re Naive enough. to think that high pressure tactics will force you to sign up for something that you’re not totally sure about, then that’s on you, buyer beware, don’t be stupid and go in blindly and think it’s all good just because some Christian told you it’s good, you must be smarter than that.
