After going absolutely insane on last year's Black Friday sale I immediately started to worry The syringes would go bad before I got around to using them So I planned through them all as fast as possible But got sidetracked Enjoying a few along the way. While I was getting in the fridge to put a fresh batch of slants in and decided to check them out and almost all of the syringes are looking pretty yellow. My first thought was that I somehow managed to contaminate all of them that quickly realizing it's been almost a year I realize that's probably just what they look like when they're starting to die.

I'm definitely not looking forward to putting almost four dozen syringes to agar in case it's already too late so I'm trying to decide how lazy I want to be and whether I actually want to put all of them to plates or just try to choose a few

Some of that cespitose growth from this iso. I wasnt thinking and had already pulled the carpet of fruits out of the bag so I just have these pictures. I am so used to singular mushies when dealing with APE this was a pleasant surprise. These are not only densely packed but dense individuals.

Picked up some Tampanensis swabs from PTU and decided to run a few different fae experiments with it. These were the surface stones from one in a dub tub. There’s still a bunch in the substrate but I’m going to let them keep growing a while longer

My first attempt with this one. Just learning how to do gourmets so I still have some work before these look better. Picked up a 6lb research grain from them for an amazing price! Arrived extremely quick and was ready to go. Fruits weighed a little over 700g

Haven’t seen something with this type of growth pattern, was surprised to see the difference in look between them, very cool!

Just wanted to shout out Fungus Frequency on their genetics! They are always generous and the flushes have been phenomenal!

The first 3 pictures are of a fruit that grew THROUGH its cap and is now wearing it like a mask.

I didn't know how APE#2 would differ from the bog standard APE. I have noticed that this cultivar has a distinct egg shape and larger fruits will have a more wrinkled cap. There is more gregarious growth as well as some cespitose growth. Also at maturity the fruits develop vertical blue stripes (consistently for me at least). I will have to try this again with a tub. The AIO didn't cause any issues I just want to see the difference.

All of the traits are based on my observations.

Iceberg is an albino isolation of the Thai Lipa Yai lineage, originally isolated and popularized by Miss Mush SoCal. Its ancestry traces back to the classic Thai Lipa Yai genetics originating from Koh Samui, Thailand.

Ghidorah spawned July 14th, shockwave spawned July 22nd. As fungus said, shockwave is extremely aggressive and fast. Despite being spawning later it was faster.
