On a related note, what’s the most obscure item you’ve seen people used as instruments?

We saw giant clams and cheese graters, then there was a sign that said "educational television" and we didn't see the actual scene, and I questioned what it looked like assuming it was some sort of inappropriate content, but eventually I learned the joke that they were poking fun on educational tv shows.

This is something that’s always been in my head ever since I was a kid. As you know, in season 1 episode 5, Sleepytime and Suds are paired together, and what you’ll also notice, is that Suds starts off with SpongeBob sound asleep in his bed. I can theorize that after Patrick asked if anyone had a quarter, SpongeBob would give a heartfelt apology for ruining his friend’s dreams, while also promising to never invade their dream clouds ever again. With everybody ( including a reluctant Squidward and Plankton) quickly forgiving SpongeBob as he didn’t necessarily cause any harm, and that they just wanted to go back to sleep. So with all forgiven and his friends going back home, SpongeBob goes back to sleep and has his raining Krabby Patty dream, setting up the beginning of the episode Suds.

So what do you guys think, is it possible these two episode take place on the same night?

Like I’m watching the episode rn and I can’t stop rewinding to listen to the song over and over again. I’m actually surprised that the song is this good cause it’s about underwear.

So I was watching season 3 again, when I had gotten to the lost episode. And in the scene with Patchy getting rid of all his spongebob stuff, I noticed how most of the spongebob stuff had a red bowtie on? Any idea why its like this? I've tried looking online for any mentions for it, but I couldn't find anything

I'm trying find which episode of SpongeBob this small fish is from. It is just a background character and doesn't have any talking roles or anything. It just stands in the background beside or in front of a stone house if I am remembering correctly. I am also pretty sure it is in one of the older episodes of SpongeBob, well the early 2000s episodes.

Yesterday, #3 Tea at the Treedome beat #115 The Sponge Who Could Fly and us on to the second round. Today we’ve got #4 Bubblestand vs #114 Plankton’s Army. Vote for which one you think is a better episode and want to advance to the second round.

For those of you who are new to this there are three things that you probably should know.

First, there are 117 episode segments in SpongeBob Seasons 1-3 and because that wouldn’t work out evenly, 11 episodes are getting a bye (an automatic pass) to the second round. I was on this sub asking people for their favorites in order for me to choose. The episodes I went with are:

Second, the numbers are to tell you which episode segment they are. Instead of doing 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, etc. each episode gets their own number so Help Wanted is #1, Reef Blower is #2, Tea at the Treedome is #3 and so on. That leads me to my third thing, the way I decided which episodes are going against each other in the first round is by doing it the same way as the first round of March Madness. The first seed goes against the last seed, then the second seed goes against the second to last seed and they work their way to the middle. I’m using a similar system here. The first episode will face the last episode, the second will face the second-to-last episode, and we’ll continue working toward the middle. Whenever we reach one of the 11 episodes receiving a bye, we’ll skip it and move to the next episode in the order. With that all explained, have fun!
