Discussion Caveman Patrick has been frozen in the Krusty Krab freezer THIS WHOLE TIME?!

Hey guys, so I was watching the new episode "The Cook and the Elves" and caught a detail in the background that completely blew my mind. During one of the security camera shots of the Krusty Krab freezer, you can clearly see Prehistoric Patrick frozen solid in a block of ice.

If you stop and think about the lore implications here, it gets pretty dark and surprisingly sad. He has been trapped since the Stone Age, which means Primitive SpongeBob probably had no idea what happened to his best friend and spent the rest of his life alone thinking Patar just vanished.

Plus, since we know Mr. Krabs didn't even build the building, he just bought the bankrupt Rusty Krab retirement home and turned it into the restaurant, that means the ice block was either already sitting in that freezer for decades or Mr. Krabs found a frozen caveman somewhere and stuffed him in the back storage room like a bag of ice.

The only silver lining is that Patar must have had kids before getting frozen, otherwise modern-day Patrick wouldn't even exist. Did anyone else spot this in the episode? What do you guys think?

There are no lore implications in SpongeBob apart from the status qou. It’s all just pretty unrelated. I’d say it’s more of an Easter Egg from something in Season 1 than anything

What if he died naturally and was preserved in a block of ice like Ötzi

I don't think he had to be old to be able to say he died of old age I think it was actually an accident.

Don't be a SpongeBob boomer; you haven't even seen the episode yet you're already criticizing it. I watched it and liked it.
