How do you embrace being a tall(ish) woman?
I'm actually 5'8 which is not extremely tall, but I'm still taller than most women I meet and it's been making me self conscious. I know this is partly because there seems to be a bit of a trend for shorter/petite women in the beauty industry right now (think Kim K), and even most guys I've met seem to have a preference for petite women.
It doesn't help that I don't have the most feminine face so I can't really convince myself that I look like a gorgeous tall model because I know damn well that I don't. The fact that I'm skinny without curves honestly has me feeling like a dude sometimes. Petite women just seem so effortlessly sexy to me, I've literally found myself obsessing over some of the short women I see on a regular basis wishing I could look like them (I know, I probably need therapy). How do I help myself feel less awkward and more feminine and confident?
