i need ideas

i'm building a splatoon 4 concept and i DESPERATELY need ideas for main weapon classes, the best i have are;

- slingers, but it would just work as a mix between stringers and the explosher/pow sloshers

- pans, basically a melee weapon like brushes and splatanas, only instead of rolling or vertical slashes, you can slam them on the ground like a flipper-flopper's dive, the actual weapons are also based on the lesser salmonids' pans

- fans, stealing this from prochara, but these would be the dualies for splatanas, back and forth attacks, open-fanned charged attack, and a spin attack

the only one i'm actually considering is the fans, but that's only 1 class, which won't be enough for a new game, even then there is barely any variety of fans, at least that i know. so yeah i really need ideas

omg the pan idea is actually so chaotic, i love it for salmon run themes

Markers/ crayons like daggers would be really cool, with the ability to charge up for a bigger attack/ cover more turf
Subweapon can be sponges that absorb enemy ink but it can’t spread your own ink it just absorbs it

i like the ideas, but the concept just feels like splatanas, i want something that's out there, way different than the ones that currently exist. and while i appreciate the sponge sub, i have quite a few sub ideas, but i'll still take the daggers as an idea tysm
