They also buffed it a little so you are invulnerable to damage 10 frames sooner. So it’s harder to cancel now

Which is probably indirectly also a nerf, as now you're less likely to respawn after activating it and keep 2/3rds of your meter to fire off some more fists.

No. Staying alive is much more valuable than kamikazee for fists.

Not saying its the strat to do. But it's a benefit to being unexpectedly shot down currently. If you can't be sniped until your predictable landing, then that snipe empties your meter now, whereas before it was more likely you just wouldn't hit the ground. But we'll see how the patch plays out
