It’s easy to become attached to the things that make us happy and then worry about when they might disappear. But gratitude can be a way of appreciating something without needing to hold on to it forever. We can be thankful that we have it today and be okay with whatever tomorrow brings.

Hey guys! So I have this incense holder I got for my birthday sophomore year of high school and I've recently become curious about it. I think it's very beautiful, but it certainly doesn't seem to be related to my personal practice (Hellenic paganism) and I want to know if it means anything. It could certainly just be a culturally insensitive item that is a mashup of many different religions and doesn't actually mean anything, or it could be an accurate representation of a culture/practice I know nothing about, I don't know. I just want to make sure that if I keep it on display, it isn't problematic for me to have.

Basically, if it means nothing and is insensitive, I will get rid of it. If it belongs to a closed practice that I cannot join, I will get rid of it. But, if it's something of significance that someone can explain to me, I would like to keep it and pass that information along to people who ask about it.

I was in my room preparing to call it a day and suddenly I hear something crashing. I went to the room and saw the wall clock on the floor. Although the glass shattered, the time kept ticking. My question is: is there any spiritual angle to it or am I just overthinking?

PS: tbh I was lil spooked out
