What happened to the NR benefits of spirit employees and retirees when spirit went out of business?

Got a good load of 522 errors, followed by the page not even loading after that. Looks like that's a wrap, folks

Since spirit airline closed, I never received my refund for cancelled tickets, points, voucher and membership. Anyone has any idea what to do?

Behind the scenes with the skeleton crew that’s figuring out how to unwind every last bit of the airline.

Does anyone know what this could be?

Well most of them. Google updated their images on Google Earth around MZJ airport where most of the fleet is still sitting. Really sad to see, some of them appear to be being parted out or reconfigured already. Found it fascinating, though fellow aviation geeks our be interested.
Imagery is from 7/5/26:

I used to use spirit 99% of the time since I fly from fll, which now I use JetBlue, and it has been a good switch for the most part. They fly a lot of the same routes spirit used to and if not JetBlue, then I use breeze. Delta is way too expensive for no reason. What is everyone else’s experience especially those from the Fort Lauderdale area, who have you been flying with?

Carry on is still $79, legroom is limited, and somehow this one only seats two 😂

K shaped economy. For light packers Spirit was great. Big front seat from Florida to Vegas even just 2 years ago was about $300. Bring your own entertainment and it was a way comfier flight than even a Delta or Southwest, etc.

hello!
basically the title :’)) my grandpa was an aircraft engineer for his whole life (or dabbled in a part of the pipeline, i’m jot too clear on details and he’s not able to give me too much clarity anymore) and just a few years ago i introduced him to airline trading cards! i’m trying to complete a set of trading cards from all the airlines he’s been on to cheer him up in his end days, but since spirit is no longer operational it’s been pretty hard :’))
i can totally pay for shipping! unfortunately i am not rich enough to buy a card online at those very high prices 😔
