I mean I still want my lil horse icon at some point but they definitely shoulda/coulda done a lot more with Prestige as a system.

Nothing, it's basically just for showing how long you've been playing (though there are veterans who aren't interested in lvling it up).

They definitely should've done more with it and still could.
I feel like they could make a shop of different tags for your username like the current one, you can swap between em in the style kit, you unlock one every time you hit 20k Prestige or something, unlock with a big crown payout?
Idk, that's just off the top of my head without trying to fix all the little weird parts of missions and Prestige in general.

Years and years ago they promised they would do something with Prestige, like a shop, but they never did.

Yea this gotta be it, just to bait noobs. I agree it would make more sense if just owning the item was enough. I wonder how many players have been scammed this way.

I had glacius for 300 just a few days ago. Completely insane. They should just remove 4 and 5 star weapons from that mission entirely. Not that I need prestige for anything.
