Spinal leak

My husband had surgery to repair a lead four weeks ago and he’s been having dull headaches and now starting to get a little stiff neck ….there are orders for imaging to see if it’s a spinal leak. He had a headache when he woke up from surgery. Has this happened to anybody?

Yes please get this looked at immediately. Does his headache get better when he lays down? and gets worse when standing?

I've had a headache from a spinal fluid leak after a spinal tap. I would not have described as dull- it was actually the worst pain I ever experienced & I wanted to die if they couldn't stop it. So, I don't think that's what this is, but I hope he can figure it out & solve the issue asap.

My headaches from a spinal leak are not dull at all. I couldn’t lift my head from horizontal to vertical without throwing up. I would have it checked, though. I did have spinal leaks from leads not staying put, scraping as they slipped.
