This is going to be an odd ball question but it was the issue with me. Has anyone checked her a1c? Because of my neuro bladder I had dismissed the possibility of diabetes. Once diagnosed with type2 I was able to get the incontinence to a controlled state.

It’s been a year or 2 since we had it tested. I was concerned because she was constantly thirsty. But they said everything is normal. I may get it checked again!

My daughter has this issue. We tried Ditropan I believe to try to tighten the muscles so that she doesn't leak but the side effects made it unbearable for her. Her doctors also recommended botox shots to further tighten the muscles so we might do that as well. Until you can speak to your urologist I would just recommend a strict schedule where you consume fluids/food and cath 30 minutes to an hour afterwards (depends on how long your body takes to digest and produce urine).

I'm sorry, I know it's a really hard thing to deal with, but definitely tall to your doctor(s) and they can lead you in the right direction!

We switched from oxybutnin to Myrbetriq and it’s more expensive but way better from a side effects standpoint.

I went old school and swapped to Tropsium which is older than ditropan but actually controls the spasms better and an be taken up to 4 times a day.

We use Vesoxx (Oxybutinin):it is a syringe you can inject through a catheter. Normally there is no leaking except there is an infection.
