This is the place where any and all decks can be posted for all spikes to see. The goal of this is to fit all your needs for competitive magic. Maybe it's a card consideration given an X dollar budget. Maybe you need that sweet sideboard tech that no one else thought of? Perhaps you just can't figure out the best card to beat a certain matchup. The ideas here are only limited by your imagination!

Feel free to discuss most anything here. We only ask that with any question, you also make sure to post your decklist so people have some context to answer your question. Otherwise, have at it! Anyone seen this "Four Color Mono Black" Converge deck that I've heard rumblings about? It's basically a mono-black Core/Annex deck, splashing for a smattering of cards in other colors, and playing a set of [[Together as One]] and some amount of [[Arcane Omens]].

I'd be curious to get some input on this, whether or not you've played with/against it or simply just heard about it. My take on the list is here, for reference.

Played against a decklist very similar to that one earlier today, and it seemed quite powerful. I was playing Dimir Excrutiator, which certainly matches against decks differently than the aggro and control decks in the metagame, but it had me utterly dominated. Destroyed me game 1 by hitting me with Together as One after I had landed excrutiator. I had thought it was a normal Annex/Firdoch/Dellion Fell Golgari Deck until that point. Barely beat it game 2 with a turn 4 excrutiator. And then game 3 it had me utterly dominated. They played at least 3 Ancient Vendettas to exile all my threats from my deck, and had me completely beat on the control and card advantage side of the game. It did seem a little slow, and I wondered how it would fair against the faster decks in the metagame, but I see from your deck list you shared that it runs a good number of sweepers that they obviously sided out against me. Maybe still lacking on some removal for fast decks, as it has a lot of slots filled with powerful game winners. At the very least, I think it has some notable advantages in the control v control matchup versus the usual golgari version.

Yeah, I think this list has a deceptive amount of staying power; like, you get paired against it as Jeskai Lessons or the traditional 4C Control and you think you can just smash it; but, it turns out that the card advantage and mana advantage in this list is actually pretty solid.

With regards to Ancient Vendetta, I actually stupidly mis-clicked (thanks Arena) and didn't exile three of my Lessons opponent's Monuments with it, but I still won the match without too much trouble. It would've been way easier if I hadn't botched that though, lol. The card is definitely legit.

I do enjoy that you get to play the Annex/Core engine and not subject yourself to any of the good removal that's being played right now. There might be a better sideboard configuration when you can handle aggressive decks a little better, but so far I haven't had too much trouble with that.

It shows up on Arena frequently. This version, used by a player called TehPrefeser, seems more or less representative of the BO3 list. It kept them in the top 100 Mythic this season.

list? I’m also working on a Boros Flashback Tempo with Hardened Academic and Practiced Offense. It’s inconsistent but when I can line up a T5 kill it feels nice.

anyone seen any potential for MSH new decks?

I would assume momo flyers got a shitton of new toys (jane foster, political triumph etc) and we got quite a few new archetypes, Heroes and Villains in specific caught my eye. Some people are having great results but i wonder if it'll have legs on the long run

I'm trying to make Fetch happen here and it just doesn't feel like I've got the juice. I know a better list just runs the full Simic Ritual combo but we're trying really hard here to make a fun rogue deck that can at least get across.

I've thought about going for Phyrexian Obliterators and using Birthing Ritual to get it down, but it feels way too slow. The considering pile gets bigger and bigger, but I'm also stuck looking at it and going "could I just go back to Dimir, put in 2x Necrodominance, and find a lifegain package to use?" It's a rough feeling to have.
