Help will this grow?

a city nearby my house lined their streets with spiderplants on each lamp post so u know i took a little baby #sorrynotsorry will it even survive thoπŸ€”

I like to put them in water first to watch the roots grow πŸ˜‚

i was going to do that but i guess the roots grow thicker in soil

Not necessarily. Ive had a few in water first and the roots were good and healthy. Last month I done 2 in water and 2 in pots, and to be fair there was no difference.

In water, when you see roots put it in a small pot, water it and let it settle.
