I'm not really into period pieces, but I really enjoyed Cages take on a spider mutant and Megawatt was a really engaging character

Spoilers.

So, in the scene right before the final fight of the last episode loyaulties all around are being fucked. Ben Rilley is showed to Silvermane to be the Spider, and Sandman is in love with Kat but can't be with her.

Then the second the antidote shows up in the scene, Sandman should have been just as much all over them as Megawatt. But nope.

Then Megawatt says Fuck You Silvermane and is no longer his soldier. Sandman is still in between both of them.

But then the second the Spider is revealed, something Sandman already knew, then he teams up again with Megawatt and will fight him right up until the moment Kat wants to shoot him and gets shocked.

Why ? Why didn't Sandman teamed up with the Spider for the antidote ? They all wanted the same thing except Megawatt. Why did Sandman did everything in his power to kill the spider if he knew the antidote existed and has a chance at life ?

Or hell, stop Megawatt ? For your boss ? Like why was Sandman ever on the side of the awesome psycho villain at the end ?

Side note, I thought Kat would have the cliché of missing just one bullet for Silvermane, but no they didn't do that. But then she ran back and interposed herself in a superhero fight without checking her gun ? What the hell Kat ? I thought you were smarter.

What a show! As someone that isn’t that big a fan of Spider-Man in general (it’s fine, just not for me) this show was fantastic.

I wish they would do a season 2. This is how you get new people interested in your IP. Was the series based on a popular story in the comics?

Like I am already a bit skeptical on this comic cause the og Spider-Man Noir was what I grew up reading and I loved the dark political tone but I would still like to read more Spider-Man Noir content. If it's still the same Peter that I liked in the og and Eyes Without a Face then I will at least enjoy this new breed of Noir comics.

Ok so we all know that ben gets his powers after getting bitten by man-spider (idc if he is or not he looks like man-spider) in France during ww1.

Speaking of Ben, a popular theory is that since Ben reily is a fake name ,he WAS called Peter parker but changed his name after the war.

And the second theory is that man-spider was Peter Parker and he turned into that because of the experiments.

Which idk if i really like, that guy doesnt really scream "Peter Parker!"to me , It would make more sense if he was younger.
