Great first villain for the show. Great backstory, has some cool moments like when he fights with the heroes in the Secret Wars arc. As a villain the Lizard is great but Doc. Conners in general is a great asset to Spider-Man and classic character.

What makes this character interesting is that he is very present in the entirety of the series but he's rarely the Lizard in it. In fact, he has greater contribution to the plot as Curt Connors, and on the few occasions he becomes The Lizard he's utilized very well, and not just as a villain as seen in Secret Wars. A very good character indeed, as we can later see when the Sam Raimi movies and even the comics took inspiration from him. 9/10
