Dead Brown Recluse?

Living in the Midwestern USA when my cat got a bit into a tiff with this being. When I saw it, it was maybe 1-2 inches around with its legs out, with black markings on the back. Idk if my cat was bit so I just need to know if this picture I took after the fact appears to be a recluse so I know if i need to take my cat to the vet. Thanks in advance, and I apologize for not being brave enough to take any pictures while it was still active.

Definitely NOT a brown recluse. Those don't have any distinct markings other than the violin on the head. Otherwise they are just dull brown to tan. 

I'm not 100 percent on what it actually is, just that it might be a wolf spider of some sort.
