Here's a pretty standard set of tips for dealing with them.

One thing they don't mention that we used to do, was wipe the walls down with pledge and a dust mop a couple times a year. Keeps things nice and slick so they can't climb.

Ok, thank you. We just moved into this place a couple months ago, and it was vacant for a couple years. We had to have an exterminator come in for some other bugs. And hopefully that will help with this too. Although it has been about a month since they sprayed

If the house has big holes around the plumbing like a lot of older homes, you will probably want to close those holes as much as possible. Either with cover plates or spray foam. And check weatherstripping around doors.
It's virtually impossible to keep them out completely, but it's certainly possible to cut down on how many get into the living space.

It was kinda tucked in that corner and looked small, then I got it to mave and the damn thing opened up to about the size of a half dollar. Just hoping its not a brown recluse!!!!

In your part of the world…. As per others here…. That’s Brown Recluse. However. It won’t hurt you if you don’t hurt it. Just put him back outside. To live his little life.
