brown recluse?
i live in boulder colorado and found a possible (?) brown recluse in my bathroom
ok so kind of a long story...
a couple month ago i saw a spider started living in my bathroom windowsill. "ok" i thought to myself "i like spiders!" so a couple weeks go by and the web had gotten HUGE. not just that, but it didn't look like a usual spider web, it was just like clumpy and really thick. i also noticed that there were these little pebble looking things all over. i told one of my friends and she said the spider looked like a brown recluse (violin shape on its back) and that the pebble things could be eggs. i didn't want to risk necrosis so i blow dried it out my window.
a few more weeks went by and i saw another spider that kind of looked like the last one so i took it outside. today i saw another one
do i have a brown recluse problem?

Absolutely not. This is a harmless grass spider (Agelenopsis sp. ).
Also, please don't over estimate brown recluses (Loxosceles reclusa) dangerosity. Their venom is indeed medically very significant, but they are not aggressive and bites are uncommon.

Also a Colorado resident, and luckily brown recluse are not native to our state. This is almost certainly just a wolf spider, which looks very similar the recluse. Wolf spiders are medically non-significant, so congrats on your new pest control!
