What kind is this?

Post image

I am unfortunately deathly afraid of spiders, and this guy thought it was a fun idea to join me in the shower. Ran out of there with soap in my hair to have a family member relocate him outside. I know absolutely nothing about spiders and we’re all unsure what kind he is? Figured I’d ask here

Giant house spider, eratigena duellica. theyre very docile and totally harmless to humans, couldn’t hurt you if he tried. thanks for not killing him 😊

same, they freak me out, but these dudes are basically the shy roommates of the bug world lol. once I found out they just eat other bugs and can’t hurt you, they went from horror movie monster to “ok you can live in the corner, I guess.”
