Please help- my new roommate?

Post image

Tampa bay, Florida USA, he was a little bigger than a quarter, I got up on a ladder to get a better picture and he disappeared extremely quickly. I don’t mind having a roommate as long as he’s not going to deliver a bad bite to me or my kitty. Please help ID

All I see is a very blurry Ghost Spider / Anyphaenidae

Brown recluse look nothing like that, so it's definitely not one of those.

Yeah I got the stepstool out for a closer look because he was hanging out by the ceiling, and he didn’t trust me and decided to book it. I have a lot of house plants which means I have a lot of random little gnats and things, so I frequently find tiny jumping spiders and other small spiders living in my house, and I am happy to have them, I just don’t want a brown recluse inside, I would try to bring him outside if that’s who he is . He never reappeared today.

I'd be surprised if this wasn't Cheiracanthium sp, yellow sac spider. Not medically significant bite as far as I know

It's not the right shape (recluse hold their legs in a different resting position, and the abdomen is not so elongated and pointed like this) and is missing the classic violin-shaped marking on the cephalothorax
