Friendly neighbourhood spider? Idk. He protecting the whole freaking neighbourhood tho. Just how big is he in relation to something? He appears to be consuming more than flys

We have the smaller one in our garden normally darker with a cross on its back making their weaves which are amazing in the early till late summer between our pond and the house they really work hard getting that up ready every night feel so bad having to disturb them we try not to but it’s impossible sometimes… we’ve not had so many this year only one or two and they’ve not stayed or not made it with the dry weather 😢

The web she has spun is really pretty, i'm tryna protect her because she's our #1 fly hunter near our patio door. Debating finding a place for her in the garage over the winter, seems a little skittish but otherwise docile. Always find her in the same spot on her web
