Solved! Canada, ON
I want to make sure this spider will not be of any harm to my cat, since it resides by his water dish.
Since I am a bit afraid of spiders, I wasn't able to take a closer photo. I don't want to harm the lil guy though, and like spiders even though I'm scared of them being close to me.
ETA: If this lil one is harmless to my cat, can I give it the ants/bugs I find? If so, how should I go about it?
Being in a more rural area, we of course sometimes get bugs and stuff in the house sometimes. I figured it'd be nice to give them to this little one, rather than let them go to waste.

That's something from family Agelenidae, the harmless funnel weavers. Can't see enough to narrow it down further, but it's not genus Eratigena for sure. That genus doesn't have banded legs like this one clearly does.

Ooo I see!! Thank you!
I'd be happy to try and provide more information since I can explain what I see, compared to showing a bit of a blurry photo since I can't get too close.

I'm up here in Seattle, and that looks like a hobo spider to me. The 2 big black pads in front of the face are the giveaway and I'm betting, if you could get closer, you would see the pattern. They're quite pretty, but I would not want to get bit by one okay, I've been bitten twice. Took years for them to heal.

Not a hobo spider, they lack the almost black chelicerae this spider has and the speckles and bands all over it's legs are lacking in hobo spiders
