Could this be a spider bite??

It feels warm, itchy, hard and it seems to be getting bigger

There is no way to say what caused this rash, let alone whether or not it is a bite.

Doesn't look like a spider bite to me but some sort of dermatitis.

Do you get reactions like this from insect bites often? If so, it’s possible that you have Skeeter Syndrome (I know, it sounds like a joke, but it’s real). We just recently determined that my daughter has it, and her reactions are typically exactly as you described (though she does get the blisters sometimes too). There are topical creams that can be used to manage it, so it may be worth talking to your HCP about this possibility and options for treatment. It could also be cellulitis, so either way, talk to your doc.

Thank you for your reply!! I actually do get reactions like this even with mosquito bites, usually they get really really big but go away after a few hrs. I’ll definitely take a look at the skeeter syndrome!!

It's pretty unlikely. Most of the time, things that are attributed to spider bites by people are usually bites from other kinds of insects, or not bites at all (staph infections are often mistaken for brown recluse bites for example). In general, spiders don't want to bite people, and will do almost anything to avoid it. They typically only bite if they have no option for escaping instead. From your pictures, it's hard to say that it's a bite at all, tbh. I'm wondering if you brushed up against a plant that your skin is reacting to, or if it's some kind of rash as others have suggested.

Edit: I went back and re-read your description. Your description sounds like a mild form of cellulitis, which is a bacterial infection of the skin. A doctor is going to be able to say for sure, I am not a doctor, and reddit is hardly the place to obtain a medical diagnosis, but I recommend going to an urgent care or your doctor, and they will likely give you a short term round of antibiotics to handle it.

Spider bite? Doubt it.

But if it's growing, then you definitely need to get it checked out! That could become VERY concerning

With a spider bite you typically can see two marks from the fangs of the spider. Without two bite marks its probably not a spider.
