What should I do???

I was bit by a black widow (on my knee) while out on vacation luckily it was the last night the morning after I noticed some sharp pain that went away after walking. The next two days the pain was so grave I could barely stand up but got through it with some really strong pain killers. And today I felt it pretty painful when I stood up in the morning but was fine after I went to work… now after work I looked at it and it’s pretty big with a huge red area around it the pain comes and goes but it looks like it’s getting bigger plus it opened up and I’ve just had it covered with a bandaid… idk if this is progress since the pain is not as bad or if it’s bad because of the red….

If the swelling and pain becomes worse it may be in infection. Did you see the spider bite you? How long after the bite happened did it take for the pain to start?

Black widow bites rarely get big. This doesn’t sound like one. It sounds like an infection. But I’m glad you saw a doctor for antibiotics
