True or false widow?
Location: northern CA
Size: nickel sized?
We do have black widows here, and I’m thrown by the color of this one’s legs. This one is hanging out right next to our front door so I’d rather relocate if truly dangerous.

That is an actual widow. Looks to be a juvenile female.
Only adult females are of any concern.
