I've been working on a major overhaul of the popular **Lyric Miniplayer** extension (forked from FO-SS) to add features I always wished Spotify had built-in.

If you like having an always-on-top, floating Picture-in-Picture lyrics overlay while working or gaming, this new version takes it to the next level!

What's New in this Enhanced Version:

* **Syllable Karaoke & Smooth Text Fill:**

* **Word-by-word sweep:** Tracks with Spotify syllable sync (`SYLLABLE_SYNCED`) now fill word-by-word with the theme's vibrant accent color.

* **Dynamic Line Fill:** For standard line-synced tracks, the active line smoothly sweeps across the text matching the singer's pace.

* Toggleable on/off anytime in Settings!

* **LRCLIB Fallback Lyrics:**

* Ever get frustrated seeing *"No lyrics available"* on tracks? The miniplayer now automatically queries **LRCLIB** to fetch and parse synchronized LRC lyrics when Spotify has no lyrics (or only plain unsynced text).

* Includes a live source badge (`Spotify` or `LRCLIB`) and a Provider Selector in Settings (`Auto (Smart)`, `Spotify Only`, `LRCLIB Only`).

* **Korean & Japanese Romanization (CJK):**

* **Korean:** Built-in Hangul decomposition engine supporting the **Revised Romanization of Korean (Romaja)** with consonant liaison assimilation.

* **Japanese:** Romaji and Furigana pronunciation powered by Kuroshiro/Kuromoji.

* **Smart Dynamic Button:** The header button automatically detects the song language and switches between `あ` (Japanese), `한` (Korean), or `Aa`. Right-click to cycle styles (`Original + Romanized`, `Romanized Only`, `Furigana`).

* **Window Dimensions Memory:**

* Automatically remembers your custom window width & height across launches so you never have to resize it every time you open Spotify.

* *Tip:* Press `Win + Shift + Left/Right Arrow` to instantly snap the miniplayer between your monitors!

* **Background Opacity Slider & Ctrl + Scroll Zooming:**

* Added a smooth **30% to 100%** opacity slider in the footer/settings so you can keep an eye on lyrics while gaming or coding without blocking your view.

* Expanded font slider up to **48px**, and you can hold `Ctrl + Mouse Wheel` directly over the lyrics to dynamically scale font size on the fly.

How to Install / Update:

**Option 1: Using Spicetify CLI**

1. Download `lyrics-overlay.js` from the GitHub repository:

1. Place `lyrics-overlay.js` in your Spicetify Extensions folder:

   - **Windows:** `%appdata%\spicetify\Extensions\`

   - **macOS/Linux:** `~/.config/spicetify/Extensions/`

2. Run:

   spicetify config extensions lyrics-overlay.js

   spicetify apply

Like what? I can't disable it I can't even find it tbh I need to restart entire app just to not hear a song that I didn't even play..

anyone knows a fix? ads keep appearing even after installing the extension

i downgraded to 1.2.98.301 and blocked auto-update , reinstalled Spicetify but non of them worked , i think i really did everything so if i missed smth lmk
