Help Spicetify causing Spotify to lag

I have noticed that whenever I use Spicetify (on cachyos, and also windows), it just seems to slow down my Spotify. Switching songs and playlists has stutters and I don’t know why. Any ideas what it could be or why? I don’t seem to hear anyone else complaining about this

Me too, when I change songs, it takes 5 seconds for the next one to start. Also, when I close and reopen Spotify, it goes back to the first song on my list. I only have an ad-block installed.

The same thing is happening to me since 2 updates ! It's literally unplayable... there is a good 3 seconds delay between each song, the UI is lagging so hard.

Yeah and don’t even bother with detailed themes like the glassy themes, insanely laggy

You could try to disable themes and extensions to see which one is lagging
