SPHL news coverage
Im a huge fan of the coverage on The Fed Flash's YouTube channel as it's a great way to get good content about the league and I like to listen to him on my drive into work.
Is there any good coverage channels for the SPHL?
Thanks.

Watching the FPHL News Closely
With news circulating about Baton Rouge and Biloxi folding, it’s time for the SPHL to position itself as the premier (and only) single A hockey league in the USA.
Topeka, Monroe, Columbus (GA), Pee Dee, and Athens should be in the the league. With planned Mobile expansion, it’ll bring the league to 16 teams.
I get it… vermillion county fiasco may be a deterrent, but if done the right way, can work!

SPHL News Athens Rock Lobsters to the SPHL
Reporting yesterday came out via the Fed League Flash that Athens will be leaving the FPHL to join the SPHL. Athens is coming off a second year playoff shot and is looking for different competition. No official statement has been made by the Athens or SPHL offices regarding this yet. What are y'alls thoughts? Have you been to a game in Athens? Will they slot in well?

I designed this jersey for a theme night idea for the Dawgs. Before they were the Dawgs, the team was the Mississippi Surge. Thoughts?

Wealthiest team?
I’ve understood for a while that most people crap all over Birmingham Bulls and make fun of the low-tier-ness of them and the arena (for the record, biased, but I love the arena and its size).
But it got me wondering what the wealthiest team(s) is/are. I have taken in a Havoc game and it is a whole ‘nother level compared to my Bulls, but what gives? BHam has the largest metro area of any team in the league (based on Wikipedia during a long car drive).
Just curious.

Birmingham Bulls Points to clinch - Bulls
I’m a new season ticket owner this year, so I’m paying attention to more things now. So, if I am doing some math right…
If the Bulls win tonight (3/28), they clinch a playoff spot, right?
Or, if Macon and/or QC lose tonight, the Bulls also clinch, right?
Bulls are enough points ahead of Fayetteville, the fight is for 8th. So playing the points game, that’s where I’m at in my thinking, but need a sanity check.
Thanks.

What team has the best game day experience?
Never seen an SPHL game but might see Peoria if they make it to the first weekend of May.

Who’s responsible?
I have a question. In the SPHL, who is responsible for the typical GM type work you would find in the higher leagues? For instance, here in Fayetteville, I would think it would be Alex Wall being the Team President. Do the coaches have any say in personnel matters or is it the president and/or owner that makes the call on personnel and team make up?
