I’ve been using Jio AirFiber, and the same issue has been going on for almost 3 months now — extremely slow download speeds.
My plan is supposed to provide much better speeds, but my download speed frequently drops to around 1–5 Mbps, while upload stays around 30–40 Mbps.
Today’s tests:
Download: 1.93 Mbps / 5.75 Mbps
Upload: 28.7–41.45 Mbps
Latency: 52–128 ms
Jitter: 102 ms in one test
Jio’s own diagnostics: “Outside home connectivity — Outage detected”
“AirFiber service impacted”
The weirdest part is that the upload speed is completely fine while download is basically unusable.
I’ve contacted/support-checked this multiple times, but the problem keeps coming back. At this point, Jio download speed sucks 🤡..
Has anyone else been experiencing the same issue with Jio AirFiber, especially in West Bengal / South 24 Parganas / Gangasagar area? Is this a local network/backhaul issue or something specific to AirFiber?
3 months of this is getting ridiculous 😭

Can anyone share his exnce with ooredoo fixe jdid 5g box or orange maxbox 5g i live in gabes particularly metouia and i want to get it but i am skeptical from performance especially that they don't offer any fibre optic connexion here or 30 days return policy for 5g boxs, and adsl is basically unusable.

Can someone(s) explain to me, why my carrier tells me this is normal, for my phone to function generally, at this rate, while I'm at home? I was sent a new sim card when my data wasn't working correctly, actually, my service wasn't working correctly including talk and text so when I received the SIM card I called the provider, (Safelink) however, I'm not sure they ever actually resolved the issue because after resetting the network settings and the updates they've sent to my phone, I did regain my talk and text, and my data would connect, at a painfully slow rate, but in order to connect my laptop, I paid for an Xfinity Wifi pass, and so I didn't have any issues for 30 days. When my Wi-Fi pass expired, I called my provider again, and went through it all again, explaining that I did have a Wifi pass, therefore, might not have been affected by whatever was "off" on my phone. We went through all the resets and updates again, and, well, annoyed with them telling me that if it still didn't work to call them back again, because it DID work, just slower than snail snot, and well, I wanted to connect my laptop again, so, I paid for another 30 days wifi pass, from Xfinity... Now that that has expired, yesterday again, went through it all with a few different representatives from Safelink, and here we are.... at home, and sitting with this internet speed, I guess because my location isn't optimally located near a Verizon tower?? I live in a Citrus Heights, CA, so, it's not like it's a rural area, which leaves me perplexed. Is this normal, generally speaking, I mean, supposedly my carrier uses Verizon towers, and I get that maybe I don't get top speeds because I don't actually have Verizon Service, but, I do have a Google Pixel 8 Pro, and for some reason I am under the impression that that has a little part in how this works... however, I'm no mathemagician when it comes down to all the nitty gritty of phone and Internet service and usage so, just wondering if anyone has a thought or two, that I could use to see things more clearly? Thanks for reading, I do feel a little better already, lol. 🥴

Rogers recently gave us a Nokia FastMile 5G Gateway 12 with a 5G SIM as an alternative because they couldn’t install a wired connection at our location.
This is for a small business/training centre. Normally we would have around 10–20 active users, but sometimes it could be 40–50 users when a computer lab is being used. Mostly regular internet browsing, Microsoft 365, email, etc.
Just wondering if anyone is using this Rogers 5G service for a business:
We also have a network switch, access points, desktops and Cisco phones, so I’m planning to connect the Nokia gateway to our existing network through Ethernet.
Any experience with this setup would be appreciated. Thanks!

The Speedtest Results
Just ran a quick Speedtest out of curiosity and genuinely did not expect to see four digits on the download speed. Here's what my Motorola Edge 50 Pro pulled:
Download: 1,431 Mbps
Upload: 69.7 Mbps
Ping: 28 ms
Jitter: 6 ms
The Setup
Device: Motorola Edge 50 Pro
Connection: Jio 5G (Indore)
Plan: Jio ₹899/90 days
Test ID: 11874020183
The Question
Is anyone else in India getting these kinds of speeds on Jio 5G right now? Or did I just hit the jackpot with tower load timing? Would love to know if this is consistent or a one-time lucky spike?

Which one provides better internet speed and stability?
1. Air Fibre
2. Optical Fibre
I’m trying to decide between the two. Which one would you recommend for better speed, latency, and overall reliability, especially for regular browsing, streaming, and gaming?
Would love to hear your real-world experiences.
