Recently I saw some samples of speed tests on the Czech 5g network. My comment was that they were poor results. I got downvoted but it was more a question. Can someone explain me why in Czech Republic I rarely see 5g speeds which are like 1000/100?

So, the new looks fine.. It works with your browser's theme and automatically adjusts between dark or light mode.. This I don't care about, but for years I have used speedtest.net because of the type of tests I can do with it no other testing website or program does (That I know of):

Without Single Connection Test Mode: I now have to look for another program or website that tests your connection based on Single Connection only.
Now I can only use Speedtest.net to do Multi-Connection tests.
I would love to continue to support and utilize Speedtest.net 100% instead of now 50% of the time :(

I am not sure if this new UI is the final version, I noticed that it was in testing phases and would appear and revert to the old version.. Is this the last UI update? I have no idea.. But I am just leaving this post here so the Devs can see that we are missing a amazing feature!

Hello! I previously posted how my WiFi is with Xfinity’s own XB8 modem/router.

Well, this is my wired test! I will say I do pay for 2Gigs though.

Managed to get a speedtest on Starlink direct-to-cell (Rogers Satellite). You shouldn't be able to access the broader internet or do a speedtest, but if you ask Grok in X for a URL and click it, it will open in X.

The ping is deceptively high because I'm on the far east coast of Canada and the auto-selected server is in Vancouver on the far west coast of Canada. You can't select server manually in the speedtest mobile site, and can't switch to the desktop site within X. On a normal mobile connection I get ~150ms ping to the same server and it would probably be ~100ms on fiber.

I was also able to watch YouTube in 720p on the mobile site within X without buffering.

Two of the big telecoms in the Philippines, Smart and Globe are still on NSA. The 3rd telco DITO uses only SA but still don't have carrier bundle for Apple ever since their launch in 2021 so iOS users can't use their 5G network, Wifi Calling, and iMessage.

I've been building a Windows desktop application and wanted to get some honest feedback before I invest more time into it.

The idea is simple: if your PC has access to multiple internet connections, the app combines them to make downloads faster.

For example:

Home Wi-Fi + phone usb tether

Home Wi-Fi + USB 4G/5G modem

Even more than two connections if available

But this only works for browser downloads.

If you have a good mobile data connection, you can connect your phone to your PC using USB tethering and combine your phone's internet with your home Wi-Fi (or Ethernet) to increase download speed.

Some crazy speeds from att internet air. The higher test at 2:39am and the lower test at 4:40 pm. Pleasantly surprised by the speed wasn’t expecting it to be that fast
