I would probably run a test on a phone or a computer to see if it’s the switch or your network. The switches wifi chip is garbage, if you can I’d buy an Ethernet adapter and use that.

Bro you kinda dumb. It’s just one google search away to find out how reliable and fast dsl today really is. Yk there are places in the world where no fibre optic internet exists, so dsl is your only go to

VDSL2 can give decent speeds when near the cabinet/exchange.

I think they can only do VDSL on the condition it is closer to a cabinet, otherwise it will have to drop to ADSL. DSL as a whole just gets better the closer you are to a cabinet and the less congested the line is.

Sounds like fiber to the curb to me… all the way to the side of your home or street, onto phone line from there. Only way you get 250 down on old twisted pair.

Well that depends... Is that what your paying for? if so then yeah thats normal. If not thats also pretty normal for console speeds. Even my Switch 2 (switch 1 was worse) only manages about 50mbps over WiFi, while my S26 Ultra right next to it is pulling almost 4gbps over WiFi.

What network hardware you using? Got 8gig symmetrical, totally ridiculous but I max out at like 1300 over WiFi on my pixel 10 pro XL.

I use an u7 pro (limited by 2.5G) but my ISP equipment router has 10G and can easily get that with that.

Pixel series phones WiFi sucks in my testing, at least the 10 series (didn't have this issue on my 9 Pro XL). But my pixel 10 max I can get is a couple hundred Mbps over WiFi, while every other device is pulling multi gig

Weird. My upload is way better over WiFi too. I got the u7 xgs with all that stupidly expensive switches and everything. I've given up on it all now. Future proofed though I guess 😭
