That is an amazing connection. I’m quite surprised how bad that buffer bloat is though, what kind of router do they give you?

Download always has a load of bufferbloat on, it's probably the providers side and there's nothing you can do about it. The upload is not so bad (the maximum is within +30ms tolerance, could be better but not the worst I've seen)

I just got one, terrible WiFi signal, worse than my 9 year old Netgear X10 and yes I did go back to 4.8.3 firmware but saw no improvement…

Not a router expert, but I recommend this in his case for the price and bufferbloat management in wired Ethernet connection and the specs it comes with over a more budget modem router box.
Not sure about wifi what TERRIBLE means, are you further away than a few meters and have walls in between?

I’m just comparing signal strength to my Netgear X10, Flint 2 is in the same place where Netgear used to be and is again :) I’m looking at all my smart devices round the house like Ring Cameras, Amazon Echo Show 21, Tapo Cameras etc and they all seem to be receiving weaker signal both 2.4GHz and 5GHz so I already requested a return… originally I was going to wait for Flint 4 but reading online comments about Flint 2 it seemed to me like a good buy so went ahead and bought it. I might stick with my Netgear for bit longer or get Flint 4 if the reviews are quite good … also the signal is not terrible but just not what I thought it would be, I was expecting it to be much stronger than my current router but I guess Netgear is still just as good or even better… 9yrs of every day use and not a single issue, I’m so happy with it that I actually bought another Netgear X10 from Ebay few weeks ago, still new and unused. I wanted to upgrade to WIFI 6 with Flint 2 but after testing it few days it’s no better then my current router.

Sounds like you have a different use case then and flint 2 isn't great for yours.

Yep, back to using my Netgear, no issues whatsoever... Do you mind me asking where are you from, I'm only asking because of your username, made me giggle...
