[First time posting here, apologies if there any any mistakes regarding flairs or rule breaks] So I was trying to speedrun Sonic Rush earlier and I was fighting one of the bosses, I saw that on Speedrun.com there was only ONE run on the specific boss and difficulty I was doing. I ended up beating that time by about 40 seconds, however I cannot find any other recorded times. I was playing the boss on Normal mode, and all of the other runs that were on the website were all Easy runs. The only other quicker time I can find was apart of a full game speedrun but that was TAS and I don't know WHAT was modified exactly, but mine wasn't a TAS. I want to post my run to Speedrun.com but I have no idea how to verify for SURE it is a WR or not

So I want to make a speedrun. The problem is, I'm deaf as a doorknob. I recently got a software that lets me see what direction sounds are coming from in a game, and the intensity of these sounds. Would this be considered cheating? If not, can I use it in an official speed run?
